Life Is Short; Play More Games
Critical Grind Inc started in 2018 as a tabletop gaming events company. While those are still services we offer, see the "Extra Services" tab, we have since expanded into a board game coffee shop.

Dana has had a life-long dream of opening a coffee shop. This, combined with her love of board games, has created the perfect storm.

Shaun has been actively playing tabletop board games since 1998 and has a knack for learning new games quickly. His favorite games are strategy-based.

Saphira (she/her)
Mascot
Saphira is the daughter of Dana and Shaun. She's enjoys teaching kids how to play games. She can also be found at the cafe' wiping down tables and organizing board games.
Alyssa (she/her)
Game Master
Alyssa is a part-time Game Master and Hype Queen. She has been helping Critical Grind get the word out and encouraging people to come play since the beginning. She's GM'd off-site gaming events and promoted our events since 2018.
Dana (she/her)
Owner/President
Dana is an owner, runs the day-to-day operations, marketing, customer relations, scheduling, and is happy to help you find your next favorite game.
Montana (he/his)
Game Master / DM
Montana is a part-time Game Master. He hosts a variety of our off-site game nights. He is also one of our DMs for Hire.
Shaun (he/his)
Owner/Vice President / DM
Shaun is an owner and mostly works behind the scenes. Though he helps schedule themed nights, game competitions, and offers his services as a DM for Hire.
Dan (he/his)
Game Master / DM
Dan is another of our part-time Game Masters. He's happy to help host an off-site game night. He's also one of our DMs for Hire.
