Dana is an owner, runs the day-to-day operations, marketing, customer relations, scheduling, and is happy to help you find your next favorite game.

Ash (he/him)

Lead Curator

Ash is also referred to as "The Alchemist." When he's not working on new flavor combinations at The Grind, he's usually here playing Magic, or working at Hair Cuttery in Crest Hill. Check out his secret menu item: Razmatazz Toast

Sean (they/them)

Curator

Sean, like the rest of our staff, started as a cafe regular. They had been trying to work here for a while and the timing worked out. They are a great addition to our team with their welcoming nature and positive energy.

Shaun (he/his)

Owner/Vice President

Shaun is an owner and mostly works behind the scenes. Though he helps schedule themed nights, game competitions, and offers his services as a DM for Hire.

Curator & Hobby Ambassador

Saphira is the daughter of Dana and Shaun. She's enjoys teaching kids how to play games. She can also be found at the cafe' wiping down tables and organizing board games.

Ky jumped right in to working here with excitement and joy. They've been collaborating with Ash on our monthly specials.
