Welp, it was inevitable. I missed a week. Last week was crazy gearing up for Free RPG Day and it completely got away from me.

Free RPG Day

This past weekend was Free RPG Day and we had a great time! Shoutout to our GMs: Nick, Noah, Jax, Shaun, Ky, Rudy, Steven, Cody, Brett, David, JT, and Dan.

And a Shoutout to our staff and volunteers: Kim, Rudy, Ky, Ava, Sean, and Ash.

Couldn't have had the successful event we did if it wasn't for all of you.

RPG Event Updates!

2ND ANNUAL GRINDHOUSE ARENA: Join us on Sunday, July 6th for the 2nd annual Grindhouse Arena. The Grindhouse Arena is a player vs player battle to be King of the Mountain. Players can enter anytime. This is also a fundraiser for The Trevor Project. Sign up Now to reserve your seat as one of our first 8 players!

I will be emailing the parents directly every week a few days before Kid's RPG Night with the link for sign-ups and session descriptions. So if you are a Kid's RPG Night parent, please fill out this form (if you haven't already).

Please remember Kid's RPG Night is only the 2nd and 4th Fridays.

We've been having a great time this summer. the Jr High seats have been filled but we've still got room at the High School tables for July! Sessions start next week.

D&D SUMMER CLUB: SIGN UP NOW

4 WEEK SESSIONS:

Session C: Tuesdays in July from 11am - 2pm (1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd)

Session D: Thursdays in July from 11am - 2pm (3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th)

All sessions will be Dungeons & Dragons. It could be 5e or 2024 edition, or a homebrew amalgamation of the 2 variants. All storylines are expected to be age-appropriate and we ask that all players respect their DMs and fellow players at all times.

It is DM discretion whether pre-made characters will be provided or if players will be creating their own character during the first session.

MAGIC PLAYERS

What is Magic & Mayhem? Magic & Mayhem: a Sealed Magic even with 3 boosters. Not a draft, just sealed. The format, or chaos effect, of the sealed even changes every week (thus mayhem). Lands provided by Critical Grind. What is Chocobo Racing? Chocobo Racing is a Magic and Mayhem event where players can earn points to get Limited Final Fantasy prizes like art Prints and the very limited AR Pins — **What is Magic & Mayhem?** Magic & Mayhem: a Sealed Magic even with 3 boosters. Commander Party offers players a twist on play in the Commander format. For Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY, players can gain a Hero token they use to help complete a series of quests, earn rewards, and maybe even win the game. Bring your own commander deck and we'll throw some fun twists in the mix!

June's Miniature Painting Contest Voting is open.

Our June contest mini is an original character from Neon Blues. Neon Blues is a Role Playing Game by local publisher, Void Gate Games. Our participants have put their own spin on this character. Go to our Facebook or Instagram post to cast your vote! The winner of this one will receive a Critical Grind Gift Card, A Mini Trophy, and a PDF of the Neon Blues RPG.
