HIGHLIGHTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We're halfway through January already. Have you tried our January specials? The Red Dragon Inn Refresher is amazing.

The Lorwyn Eclipsed Magic Prerelease was a success! Between our pre-orders and people showing up on Friday we've sold out of the bundles and commanders. We have a few of the 60-card standard decks left and booster packs, but that's it.

Special Events

Monday, January 26th we welcome Portia Lynn Snaps, our new Fabulous BINGO host while we raise money for Team Nicholas. Team Nicholas is a local non-profit that brings comfort, joy, and smiles to children battling cancer and long-term illness. From their website: "We focus on making days brighter for children and their families in the hospital. Whether they are battling pediatric cancer or a long term critical illness, we know that they are still a child, or a family,  that is facing a tough time. Our organization wants to bring joy with a special toy, craft project, or even a gift card  for gas, to their favorite store,  or a meal to a special restaurant."

Save the date for Saturday, January 31st from 11am - 3pm We're hosting a Local Author Book Fair. 13 local authors will be here with their books. Fantasy, Children's, Religious Inspirational, Historical Fiction, Poetry, and Romance authors will all be present. Come out and support these local authors.

Sunday, February 1st, we are welcoming Audi Hart Creations for their first pop-up at Critical Grind. They make dice bags, hats, gloves, and adorable amigurumi plushies. Audi Hart will be here from 11am - 3pm. Stop by and treat yourself or pick up a cute little gift for your loved one.

Presentation Night is still persisting. Attendance isn't what I want it to be but those who do come, have fun! Join us on Tuesday, February 3rd for Presentation Night. An evening where people create presentations about their hobbies, interests, hot takes, or random knowledge they have. Sign up now to give a presentation.

Do you like Bingo? Do you like Music? Come to Game of Tones. A new music bingo style game. All you need is a phone and a love of music. Join us on Thursday, February 5th from 7-9pm. Free to play, Cafe Purchase required.

On Monday, February 16th, T.B. Sweet Creations will be hosting a cupcake decorating class at Critical Grind. It's $48 and is good for 1 adult or 1 parent and child. The ticket includes 1 cafe beverage, 6 cupcakes, decorations, instruction, and a take-home box. Sign up now to save your seat.

Our first DOUBLE Pop-Up Bakery is on Sunday, February 8th. Stock up before the Superbowl with delicious sourdough from Sourdough You Know and amazing cookies from Chunks! You don't want to miss this one!

RPG Event Updates!


--> KIDS RPG NIGHT

How it normally works: I email the parents directly, hopefully on the Monday before Kid's RPG Night with the link for sign-ups and session descriptions. So if you are a Kid's RPG Night parent, please fill out this form. (if you haven't already)


Please remember Kid's RPG Night takes place the 2nd and 4th Fridays, GMs permitting.


We NEED adults to GM for Kid's RPG Night so if you are interested, please email dana@criticalgrind.com or reach out to @The Toast Master in the Discord.

We play RPGs every Tuesday and Thursday, but people will plan meet-ups outside those times as well. Join our Discord and see what games are being played.


Tip: When you join, go to Rules to get verified. Then, VERY IMPORTANTLY: go to Roles-and-Info to select your interests. This is what will unlock the channels.

Monthly Mini Painting Contest

Whether you're participating in our contests or just looking for a space to hang out and paint, stop by any Tuesday for our Mini-Painting drop-in between 3pm & 8pm. $5 for all you can paint, access to our brushes, and paints, and a free figure to practice on. Or pick up additional figures for only $5 each.

Pick up this month's mini for the painting contest. $15 for the Paint Pass & Mini. This gets you access to our Mini Painting Drop-In on Tuesdays from 3pm - 8pm. Drop off your completed mini by THIS SUNDAY, January 25th.
