The Weekly Grind - November 21st, 2022 Newsletter

This one is a little bit late, but that's the thing about a new habit, it takes a while to become consistent.

We are getting a 3-day 'weekend'! Critical Grind will be closed Wednesday because we're permanently closed Wednesday. We'll also be closed for Thanksgiving and on "Black Friday".

Join us on Small Business Saturday in the cafe for some relaxing fun and some shopping with some of our local artists and crafter friends. Keep scrolling to see our Holiday Gift Idea Guide.

This Saturday we'll also have a table set up at Soundgrowler Brewing Company in Tinley Park for their Comic & Cosplay Market from 12pm-5pm.

We had a successful event at Miskatonic Brewing Company. Thank you to everyone who came out. Miskatonic has decided to take a break from Game Nights for December and January. We're going to reconnect in January to plan again for February. In the meantime, you can always come to play games at Critical Grind!

Holiday Gift Guide

Anyone who has been to the cafe recently has seen the beautiful coasters we have on our tables. They were created by Sharon R of SAS Creative Art. She has donated the miscellaneous coasters to our cafe and we have purchased a few sets of her coasters to sell. All coasters are heat-resistant, cold-resistant, handmade, signed, and no two are the same.

We also have jewelry from Axial Creations. All the jewelry is hypo-allergenic and nickel-free. If you don't see a color or style you're looking for, reach out to him at his Etsy and ask.

WE GOT OUR FIRST INVENTORY DELIVERY!

We purchased a few D&D Books, Spellbook Cards, Miniatures, and Dice. We have some games available for purchase as well.

There are bags of whole-bean Critical Grind roast coffee. They are only available at Critical Grind.

Steph's Awesome Gaming Calendar is created by Steph, a board gamer and macro photographer. She takes amazing photos of board game pieces, puts them in a calendar, and even labels which games you're looking at.

Critical Grind has Gift Cards available. At the moment, we have printed gift certificates, but we have ordered plastic gift cards for your convenience. The Gift Cards can be used for any purchases for games, accessories, drinks, or snacks. They are not able to be used for game rentals.

Speaking of game rentals, if you're not sure what game to get your loved one, sign them up for a rental subscription. Then they can try hundreds of different games. We have 3 tier subscriptions for every budget.

Pay for an ANNUAL subscription before January 1st, and receive 2 months free. Stop into the cafe any day during business hours to sign up.
