The Weekly Grind - May 12th, 2025 Newsletter

A day late on this one, but for good reason

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!

--> PRE-ORDERS ARE AVAILABLE

We are currently accepting preorders for Daggerheart RPG, Lorcana: Reign of Jafar, and Magic: Final Fantasy. If you are interested in pre-ordering any of these items, reach out. Call the shop or better yet, email criticalgrindgaming@gmail.com.

Quantities are limited and not everything is guaranteed but I will be going in order of date and time received.

Even if you think you've already told me what you want, best to go through the proper channels. At this moment I have 1 name ordered for Lorcana and 2 for Daggerheart. If you don't know if either of those are yours, best to put in that order request.

That said, we still have room at the table for the Daggerheart Launch Day one-shot event, Tuesday May 20th! Sign up here to save your seat. Only 5 Seats available. If there is demand, we'll run another one another night.

--> KIDS RPG NIGHT FOLLOW-UP

Last Friday was the first Kid's RPG Night with the new process. I think it went pretty well. There were still some parents who didn't know about the new procedure. I hope you're reading this and the kiddos brought you the paper home with the how-to.

I will be emailing the parents directly every week a few days before Kid's RPG Night with the link for sign-ups and session descriptions. So if you are a Kid's RPG Night parent, please fill out this form (if you haven't already).

-->D&D SUMMER CLUB IS AT RISK! VOLUNTEER GMs NEEDED:

4 sessions in total through June and July, 4 weeks each. Session A will be Mondays in June, Session B will be Wednesdays in June. Session C will be Tuesdays in July, and Session D will be Thursdays in July. Time will be 11am - 2pm. Each session will have at least 1 table for 6th-8th graders and 1 table for 9th-12th graders. If we have enough GMs, we'll have more than 1 table.

FREE RPG DAY: June 21st is Free RPG Day this year. We're going to be running RPGs all day. That requires GMs. There are some really exciting games this year and a lot of great incentives.
